As a first-time homebuyer, I honestly had no idea where to start. Ali was recommended to me and after some quick online snooping. I was excited to meet with him. Ali, from day one, has been an extremely quick and efficient communicator, always responding to texts and answering calls.

In our first call (btw, which happened in less than 24 hours from intro), he gave me an in-depth 45-minute introduction on what to expect and what costs I may encounter when purchasing a home. Honestly, I have heard so many horror stories about people finding out last minute what added costs are, but I have never felt that way. Also, I am moving into a new area that I knew nothing about, and Ali educated me extremely well about what to look for in houses and neighborhoods. Also, he somehow seems to remember all of my wants in location and home and walks me through them. The most uncomfortable but most helpful thing he does is when he lists out the pros and cons with me based on my checklist. This verification always seems to snap me back into reality.

Offers and deal-making seem to be one of his superpowers. Here is what happened in my world. We went into three houses to start. I loved one and made an offer. Ali got them to take our offer within 24 hours and moved toward inspection as it was an older house. Ali got me an inspector and met him for me within another 48 business hours. We then rescinded due to inspection, and he is working with Escrow to get my money back.

I KID YOU NOT. We were looking at four more houses another 48 hours after that rescinding. Found another home that I loved (think old rambler, and a bit quirky seems to be my style), and the man got us a great deal after a bit of negotiation that went well past midnight that same day!

We are now going through the inspection part, and no matter what the outcome will be, I know that Ali will have me in a house before I know it. But I wanted to share this review before I get too busy and house buying fades into the back of my mind.

Ali has been an incredible resource and a delight to work with. I know he has made a lifelong customer out of me. I highly recommend either buying or selling through him. Excellent experience.

Nothing but amazing things to say about my recent (first) experience selling my home. This was both a time sensitive and distant process for me to take on, so I leaned on Ali and the Compass team to help me make this sale as hands free as possible - they absolutely delivered. Balancing life at the moment, and taking on home repairs to prep for sale came with a LOT of anxiety. Not only did Ali continue to ensure the home repairs/contractor coordination was moving, but he continued to go above and beyond to keep me looped and keep our plans agile. With any large investment reshuffle, you need a team that communicates often and with transparency. We couldn’t of chosen a better agent for our first home purchase. Ali is very knowledgeable and was always looking out for our best interest. There was never pressure to make an offer we didn’t want to make, never rushing and always very good with setting up routes when we had 4 homes to view in day. His flexibility with working with our crazy work schedule was a huge plus for us, since we weren’t really able to view anything before 5pm.
